I am a Holistic Health Practitioner with over 13 years of experience working for both a private Addiction Treatment Centre and a hospital-based program, in addition to several years of experience teaching Concurrent Disorders in the Social Service Worker Program at George Brown College. I obtained a BA in Sociology and went on to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counselling.
In order to compliment my practice, I became a certified Psychedelic Coach, Vinyasa/Hatha/Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, in addition to receiving training in various therapeutic modalities including; Mindfulness, Meditation, Trauma-Informed Approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
I believe in the powerful medicine of community, storytelling, sacred ceremony and authentic, loving connection. I believe in our individual and collective ability to heal and transcend all injuries and traumas, as well as physical, mental, emotional, behavioural or cognitive illnesses or conditions we may develop, no matter how severe or debilitating.
As your counsellor, coach and healer, I will walk alongside you on your personal journey of healing and self-discovery. I will support you, empower you and equip you with a toolkit of teachings to confidently face life's challenges and overcome barriers to health and wellness.
